During college I was forced to move back home due to the pandemic outbreak, and it was then that I rediscovered my childhood passion for drawing comics. I created this for Rescue Party, an Instagram project by Desert Island Comics that called upon artists to submit a 9 panel comic imagining an ideal future after the pandemic. I tell a story about cats, who are secretly an ancient alien species that came to Earth long ago to watch over and protect humanity from threats. The time has now come for cats from around the world to embark on a mission to their home planet to bring back advanced medical technology that will cure COVID.
